La Tranche-sur-Mer is an ideal destination for a holiday with your dog. The town and its tourist office are members of the Toutourisme club, a national scheme that recognises destinations committed to welcoming pets.
At the tourist office, you will find practical information, dog waste bags and a guide listing pet-friendly places and activities. Several drinking fountains around the town are suitable for dogs, while safe walking areas provide plenty of opportunities to relax together.
One of the main advantages of La Tranche-sur-Mer is that dogs are allowed on all its beaches. During the day, they must be kept on a lead and can access the beaches outside lifeguard patrol hours. This simple rule allows everyone to enjoy the coastline safely and comfortably.
