- Just an hour and 15 minutes away by car, the Puy du Fou is a highly reputed historical theme park, offering grandiose shows featuring different periods of French history.
- La Rochelle is a historic port town about an hour’s drive north of La Tranche-sur-Mer.
- La Vélodyssée is a cycle route that crosses the entire French Atlantic coast, from Brittany to the Basque Country, covering a total distance of around 1,200 kilometres. Although La Tranche-sur-Mer is not directly on the main route of La Vélodyssée, it is on the Vendée coast, and you can reach the cycle path by following the signposted routes along the coast or by taking secondary roads.
